I was under the table, doing my best to convince someone to let me have a taste. All I got was a pet instead. seems like I really love getting attention! I even flashed them my winning smile and coy look. I finally got some cheese in the bowl! Yup, not bad for my first night.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by just to check on me. I am more appreciative than you know. I am a mother, a writer, a self-proclaimed chef and an all around superhero. Some years ago, I picked up a book of poetry and thumbed through it looking for the most interesting piece to read. I read it four times. It gripped me so much that I missed my bus stop and had to walk six blocks to my house.
